DEW DROP ON THE ROSE PETAL
The night bore no witnesses…calling none but we
No eyes to stare, just stillness, you and me.
No moonlight this time to shine of your skin.
No silhouettes in the darkness, no dungeons deep.
There were no poems recited just raw passion unleashed,
No eyes to stare, just stillness, you and me.
There was a whole meadow to choose from
But I picked the rose, one petal at time and pain of the thorn
...or was it the other way around??
No words spoken, just moans and sighs
Heartbeats exchanged in the calm of night.
Hushed up words, secrets kept,
As the night passed into light…
The colour of your lips, or was it the prism,
The sun came out to reveal the smiles
When I climaxed to the taste of dewdrop on the rose petal.
